    Privacy Policy

    Last updated: June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal data when using the Classity School Focus Platform (the “Platform”), an educational platform designed to help schools create focused learning environments by reducing smartphone distractions during school hours, in compliance with applicable European data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

    1. Who We Are and Our Role

The Classity School Focus Platform is developed, owned, and operated by Learnova LTD (hereinafter referred to as "Learnova", "Classity", "the Platform", "we", "us", or "our"). Classity provides a digital platform used by schools, students, parents, and educators to implement and foster appropriate smartphone usage during school-related activities, while preserving essential communication between students and their parents. Any such management settings may only be applied to a child’s device with the prior consent of the child’s parent or legal guardian. Parents always remain in control of their child’s participation in the Platform and may revoke their consent where permitted by the Platform and applicable law.

For the purposes of data protection laws, Classity acts as:

    • Data Processor on behalf of participating schools with respect to student personal data. Schools are the Data Controllers responsible for determining the purposes and means of processing student data. We assist schools in responding to requests from parents and data subjects in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
    • Data Controller with respect to parent accounts, customer support, school administrator accounts, billing information, and other administrative or operational data processed directly by Learnova.

    • No content access: Classity does not access, receive, or transmit app content, browsing data, or communication content. Classity uses Android Accessibility Services and other required Android system permissions exclusively to provide the essential functionality of the Platform. These permissions and services are never used to access personal content, monitor user activity unrelated to the service, perform profiling, advertising, behavioral analytics, or for any purpose unrelated to the operation of the Platform.

    • Operate and maintain the Platform.
    • Enforce school-defined usage policies.
    • Enable temporary, school-approved exceptions.

Parents or legal guardians retain primary authority over their child’s personal data. Parents remain in control of their child's participation in the Platform and retain the authority to manage or withdraw their consent. Where a verified parent or legal guardian submits a request to access, correct, or delete a student’s personal data, Classity will give effect to such requests in accordance with applicable data protection law and in coordination with the school as the data controller, except where the school is legally required to retain certain data.

Classity will act on verified parental requests in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR, and will coordinate with the relevant school where necessary to ensure lawful compliance.

Personal data may be shared only with:

    • Schools and parents, solely for providing the service.
